...is not alone. It is part of the big resort "Les Demeures du Ventoux". It is built as a small village. When we were there, not all houses were finished. Different types of houses - for 2, 4 and 6 persons- with different appearance and color configure a nice look of the resort.

The friendly reception clerks are speaking French and English. Here, you can order baguettes or croissants, borrow bikes and get all sorts of information.

There, we have stayed for 14 days

A big swimming pool can be used by all residents. The water is always clear and there was space for many people. How it will be when all houses will be occupated - I don't know??

The green areas are well maitained and watered. However, the newly planted trees don't are not very shady.

The vacation or holiday home was very good. A living room with kitchen (electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine) and a small toilet are in the first floor; upstairs two bedrooms each with two beds and the bathroom.

Fortunately, our home was situated on the border of the resort. So we had a view to a small wood and the boule ground.

The name "...du Ventoux" is right in bifocal aspect: the famous Mont Ventoux is not far and always to see; and ventoux means also wind, and wind was very often. The mistral blew heavily and warmly.

The price was not only ok but sensational. We paid for 4 persons and 2 weeks only 299 € (incl. early bird and season discounts - we booked before Christmas) !
